Teaching Credo
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and give a brief overview of my professional attributes. I have a Bachelor of Education with a Minor in Secondary Math Education, a Masters in Educational Technology, along with an extensive professional background in science and strong academic performance in undergraduate mathematics. My teaching experience has shown that I am able to connect with students and work in a collaborative environment in trying to ensure the best outcome for all learners. I actively pursue on-going professional development and growth in my Personal Learning Network, which translates to staying current with teaching and learning methodologies.

- 21C Educator, focusing on Standards Based Grading, Problem Based Learning and other Constructivist pedgagogies
- 15 years experience working in a professional engineering environment
- Working towards differentiated instruction to maximize student interest, motivation and growth
- Experience implementing blended learning environments
- Sponsor and Leader of a school-based robotics and engineering club
